Paul C. Kaufman Esq.
Paul Kaufman is a founding and senior partner of Kaufman Semeraro & Leibman, LLP.
Since 1974, Mr. Kaufman has been practicing law in the Fort Lee, New Jersey area, specializing in land use law, including zoning matters and commercial real estate transactions. Representing developers in some of the largest and most complex development and redevelopment projects in Northern New Jersey, Mr. Kaufman also has decade’s worth of experience in handling complex litigation cases involving land use disputes.
Mr. Kaufman has extensive experience representing public entities. He presently serves, amongst others, as general counsel to the Bergen County Utilities Authority and Municipal Counsel to the Boroughs of Paramus and Woodcliff Lake..
In addition, Mr. Kaufman has previously served as Mayor and Councilman of the Borough of Leonia. Mr. Kaufman served as a Parliamentarian to the Bergen County Democratic Organization for a decade.
Involved in his community, Mr. Kaufman also served as President of Congregation Adas Emuno in Leonia and many years on its Board of Trustees. He also serves as a member of the Board in the townhouse complex in which he resides.
