Marc Leibman Secures Retroactive Approval for Ridgewood Church

Last week, Marc Leibman acquired approval from the Ridgewood Planning Board for improvements made at a Godwin Avenue Church owned by the World Mission Society Church of God. The contractors who completed the improvements to the property in 2011 failed to obtain the proper approvals for minor changes such as small landscaping walls, tree-mounted solar exterior lights, installation of some pavers, and a re-painted parking lot. Local residents brought the matter to the attention of the town, and the Church received some summonses. After Leibman filed an application to the Planning Board, the summonses were dismissed. After three public hearings before the Planning Board, in which Leibman presented expert Planning and Engineering testimony, the application was approved. For more details, visit
