On January 27, 2015, partner Marc E. Leibman, Esq. obtained variances to permit the construction of a three-family townhouse project in a single-family zone on Jane Street in Fort Lee, New Jersey.
Working with our regular team of professionals, Mr. Leibman presented testimony from an architect, professional engineer and professional planner sufficient to convince 5 of the sitting Zoning Board members to vote favorably.
This project represents a continuation of the revitalization of post-World War II housing up to modern living standards in Fort Lee. The proposed townhouse project includes paver driveways and entirely brick construction. It will be an attractive improvement to the site, which is currently occupied by a dilapidated three-family use in multiple structures on a single lot.
Also, the same evening approvals were granted to our client Ridge Pointe, a brand new rental community on Executive Drive in Fort Lee. The signage approved by the Zoning Board is for a logo above the entry way to the residential building and an internally illuminated white light sign that says “Ridge Pointe” facing the Route 4 and I-95 corridor.
